Silver Creek High School offers multiple rigorous course pathways to support the success of our students. If you have questions about an individual course, please reach out the teacher or contact your counselor.

Registration Instructions

Links that are active are underlined. If a link is not active, a date for when to expect it to be live will be included.

Registration Information and Process for 2021-2022:  Check out the 5 steps 

If you are planning on attending Silver Creek High School during the 2021 – 2022 school year, please follow the information below. 

  • Reminder – Open Enrollment: December 1-15, 2020….if Silver Creek is not your neighborhood high school, you will need to fill out the open-enrollment form. Link to Open Enrollment Form 

“How to Register for Special Programming”: RaptorTECH, AP, Leadership Academy, etc. 

  • Screencast explaining Part  3LINK 
  • Core classes (English, Social Studies, Science, and Math) are recommended by core teachers. 
  • At the high school level, teachers conference with each student regarding the next class. These conferences will take place between January 11-22, 2021. 
  • At the middle school level, recommendations are provided by core teachers. 
  • Teacher recommendations and any special programming classes (from Part 2) are entered into Infinite Campus and are visible on January 28, 2021. 
  • On January 28, students will have access in Infinite Campus to choose elective classes. 
  • It is recommended that students prepare for the elective registration 
  • For incoming Freshman, class of 2025

  • For current 9, 10, and 11 Grade SCHS Students: Classes of 2022, 2023, and 2024

  • Time to finish registration by choosing the elective classes that do not require an application or an audition, such as: PE, Business, Computer Science, Art, Performing Arts, etc.

  • LaunchEd – If you are currently in 9, 10, and/ or 11th grade and are planning to return to Silver Creek for the 21-22 school year, we do not have your recommendations: 
  • Please fill out (parent filling it out is fine) this form and return it as soon as possible to Silver Creek – Form for class of 22, 23, and 24   – We are happy that you will be returning! 
  • For LaunchEd class of 2025, we may have your recommendations. 
  • If recommendations are not there on the 28th, please fill out this form for 9th graders
  • Freshman – class of 2025 –  Registration Night – January 28, 6:00 pm (virtually live)
  • Webex
  • Review information / demonstration / opportunity to choose Integrated / lots of good info!

  • Important: At the high school level, February 3 – February 11, counselors will meet with each student to review elective and core selections. 
  • In order for this conference to be efficient and effective, students need to enter their elective selections prior to the conference. 
  • Middle School Assistance: 
  • Altona – February 3 at 2:45 – 3:40 pm  and  February 4 at 2:45 – 3:40 pm 
  • Westview – virtual on February 5 at 9:00 am / link provided by Westview
  • Flagstaff  – virtual February 2 at 3:00 – 3:45 pm  / link provided by Flagstaff 
  • St. Vrain Montessori – TBA  / (will be set by January 29 – check back)
  • Course Selection Appeal  – LINK  (Live January 28) – used for issues relating to improper and/or disputed teacher recommendation – submitted during elective registration of January 28 – February 11, 2021.
  • Course Request Repair, – LINK (Live January 28) used for issues relating to course issues such as: (1) already took that class, (2) missing a class or an A/B, (3) etc. – submitted during elective registration: January 28 – February 1, 2021 to counseling. ** Highly encouraged to speak with your counselor during the individual mini conferences, but can fill out a form. 
  • For Assistance attend one of the two open labs held (virtually) at Silver Creek for assistance: 
  • February 10, 5:00 – 6:30 pm. (Link – live Feb 10)
  • February 11, 5:00 – 6:30 pm. (Link – Live Feb 11)

  • Note: If a student does not register, classes will be chosen for the student. 
  • It is vital that you verify your schedule at this time. Program this date into your calendar. 
  • If there is an error or problem, a Schedule Correction form will be available in IC and the SCHS Website on May 3. 
  • Look for: 
  • Core classes: English, science, social studies, and/or math
  • Special programming 
  • Do you have all your classes?

  • Schedule change requests are all on line. Do not email your counselor directly as that will delay a response to your request.

Reminder Plan Ahead Dates: 

These are reminder dates in order with more explanation than found on the “Save the Dates.”

November 30 – January 8: Application deadlines for Special Programming

December 1 – December 15: Open-enrollment deadline 

December 16 – 19: 0pen-enrollment Notification from Silver Creek

Reminder – the sooner accepted, you will have access to Special Programming. 

January 22: If you accept after this date, we cannot guarantee student information will be ready on January 28 registration night or the registration process.

January 28: Teacher Core Recommendations & Application /Audition classes visible in IC| Appeals Available on SC Website, Registration 

January 28: – February 11: Current 9-11th grade Silver Creek registration of electives

February 3 – February 11: individual counselor meetings 

January 28:  Virtual Registration Night for incoming ninth graders & New Students: 

  • Registration information and program selection
  • Integrated English and History option paperwork provided  
  • For incoming ninth graders and new students for the 2021-2022 school year. 
  • Clubs and organization information will be present – includes athletics

February: Incoming 9th grade elective registration assistance at middle schools, to ensure all registered. 

Dates: TBA Virtual Event – details to follow

  • If open-enrolled from another school, you can register at home or attend a Feb. 10 or Feb. 11 virtual lab for assistance. 
  • Note – registration is possible at home. The trip to the middle schools is only to help and ensure all kids registered

February 9: IEP Students – Open virtual Lab Elective Registration by appointment- register for electives and meet the teachers 4:30-7:00 pm

February 10 & 11: 5:00-6:30 pm: open lab for registration make up, questions, assistance

February 11: Deadline:  any elective changes in IC, appeals, any registration paperwork.  Access to the registration link in IC is removed.

March 13: Virtual Creek Day – incoming 9th grade 

May 3:  Schedule release in Infinite Campus

May 3 – 15: Schedule Repair Requests, on-line only
